How to write your own Christmas message
- Start with the person, not the holiday: one thing you noticed about them this year says more than “Season’s greetings”.
- Keep it short. On a gift tag one sentence is plenty; on a card, two or three.
- Joke about a habit everyone laughs at, never about looks, weight or age.
- Sign it “Santa” or with your elf name – the secret stays a secret until the reveal.
