How to make the envelopes

  1. Print the three pages at 100% scale – then the sizes are right. The big envelope is for a card or a letter, the middle one for a voucher, a gift card or money, the small ones for name slips.
  2. Cut along the solid line. Scissors are enough – children can do it.
  3. Fold all the dashed lines backwards, onto the blank side, so the drawing stays on the outside.
  4. Fold in the side flaps, put glue stick on the grey fields, fold the bottom flap onto them and press it down.
  5. Put in the card, the letter, the voucher or the name slip.
  6. Close the top flap with a sticker, a piece of tape or a dab of glue.

Tips

Ordinary paper of 80–120 g/m² works well; fold thicker paper along a ruler, after running the blunt side of a knife or a dry ballpoint pen along the fold line. Color the drawings before you fold. For the draw: write the names on the slips from the name slips page, put each one in a mini envelope, close it, mix them in a hat or a bowl and let everyone pick one.
