Act out a snowman, draw a sleigh, mime “Jingle Bells”: 60 words in three levels, drawn on a phone with a 60-second timer, or printed as cards to cut. For the office party, the family evening or the Secret Santa draw.

Play in a room

Play over a video call or in one room. The shared screen shows turns and scores; only the phone acting out or drawing gets the word.

Draw for 80 seconds, without letters or numbers. Everyone else types guesses; the first correct answer earns the word’s stars for both the guesser and the person drawing. Team scores include both awards.

How to play

  1. Split into two teams. Print the cards below and cut them out – or draw a word on a phone, further down.
  2. Someone from the first team draws a word and has 60 seconds.
  3. Act it out without a word, or draw it: no letters, no numbers, no pointing at things in the room.
  4. Their team guesses. A right guess within the time scores the points of the card: ★ 1, ★★ 2, ★★★ 3. Then it is the other team’s turn.
  5. The game ends when the cards run out, or after the number of rounds you agreed on – the score sheet has 10.
  6. With kids: only the easy words (★) and no points – guessing is the fun.
  7. On a video call, whoever acts draws the word on their own phone on this page, so nobody else sees it.
