A gift from your kitchen

A jar of something homemade is a cheap and personal gift: for St. Nicholas Day, for a teacher, a neighbour or a Secret Santa draw. One batch of cookies or jam fills several jars, and the label makes each one a real present.

How to use the jar labels

  1. Print at 100% scale – best on sticker paper; on plain paper, stick the labels on with glue or double-sided tape.
  2. Cut out the labels along the solid lines, and punch out the small hole of each front label.
  3. Stick a round label on the lid – or on a paper circle held on top of the jar with a rubber band or string.
  4. Stick a front label on the jar, or tie it on with string through its hole – it works on a bag of cookies too.
  5. Write the date and who it is from. If someone has allergies, write the ingredients on the back – an idea, not medical advice.
