From the North Pole
Hello! The elves brought me your letter, and I am reading it by the fire with a mug of cocoa. Thank you for writing to me!
My elves tell me all year how you are getting on.
Every year brings something new, and you are growing so fast!
The reindeer are practising their take-offs, and the elves are wrapping the last parcels.
See you soon! A big hug,
Santa
How to give the letter
- Fold it into an envelope with the child's name on it. A North Pole stamp drawn by hand is a nice touch.
- Leave it under the tree or by the presents, where it will be found in the morning.
- Type into the fields and print, or print it blank and write by hand. What you type stays in your browser: nothing is sent anywhere.
- Read it together. Children like to hear what Santa noticed – and to read the P.S. twice.
What Santa can write
Ready lines for the fields: copy one as it is, or add something that happened only in your home.
This year Santa was especially happy about…
- how you help set the table
- how you are learning to read
- how you share your toys with your brothers and sisters
- how you cheer others up when they are sad
- how you tidy your room without being asked twice
- how you look after your pet
- your drawings on the fridge
- how brave you were at the dentist
- how you say “please” and “thank you”
- how you keep trying when something is hard
Next year you will also manage to…
- ride a bike without training wheels
- read a whole book
- tie your shoelaces
- swim across the pool
- learn a new song by heart
