Secret Santa questionnaire – questions that help your Santa

Questions for coworkers, family and kids: what size, which color, what they already have too much of. On santa.haus everyone answers them in their own letter to Santa, and the Santa who draws it knows what to buy.

For grown-ups: at work and in the family

  1. What size do you wear? Clothes and shoes, e.g. M and 8. Handy when your Santa thinks of socks, a scarf or slippers.
  2. Your favorite color? E.g. bottle green: a mug, a scarf or a notebook in a color you actually like.
  3. Coffee, tea or cocoa? And how: e.g. green tea, no sugar. It tells your Santa which sampler or mug to pick.
  4. Which sweets do you like? Dark chocolate, gingerbread, anything but coconut? One line saves a box nobody eats.
  5. Anything you don't eat, or allergies? Nuts, gluten, lactose: it matters as soon as there is something sweet in the parcel.
  6. What do you do after work? Hiking, knitting, board games: a hobby is the shortest way to a gift that fits.
  7. What do you already have too much of? Mugs, candles, socks? Then your Santa won't add one more.
  8. Do you collect anything? Fridge magnets, figurines, postcards: one more for the shelf is always welcome.
  9. A favorite book, film, series or game? Or just the kind you like, e.g. crime novels or cooking shows: a theme for the gift.
  10. Practical or funny? Something you will use every day, or something the whole office laughs at.
  11. For the home, the desk or just for you? A plant for the desk, a blanket for the couch, something for a quiet evening.
  12. One thing within the budget that would make you happy? Even a small one. Then your Santa doesn't have to guess at all.

For kids in class or at nursery: the parent fills it in

  1. Their favorite cartoon or hero? A hero they love on a mug, a T-shirt or a sticker book always lands.
  2. Their favorite animal? A fox, a horse, a dinosaur: a plush toy, a coloring book or stickers with it.
  3. What do they like to play with? Building bricks, dolls, cars, drawing? You know best what they reach for.
  4. Their favorite color? E.g. purple: for a pencil case, a hat or a water bottle.
  5. Anything they don't eat, or allergies? Nuts, chocolate, gluten: it matters when there are sweets in the parcel.
  6. What do they already have plenty of? Plush toys or crayons? Their Santa picks something else.

Copy the questions into your letter

The short form, for the gift field of your letter: copy it, fill in the dots, then save.

On santa.haus the questionnaire is the letter to Santa

Everyone on the list writes a letter to Santa: a wish, a link to the shop, a photo. The organizer can set a budget that everyone sees. Answer the questions before you save: once saved, a letter can be changed for 2 minutes only. And after the draw, Santa can ask about the size or the color anonymously.
