Office Secret Santa without paper slips

Start a list, post the link in your team chat or show the QR code in a meeting. Everyone writes a letter to Santa, and in the draw nobody gets themselves.

Secret Santa at work, step by step

  1. Start a list. A name, a gift budget (e.g. “$30”) and how the draw happens. No account and no e-mail.
  2. Invite your team. Post the link in your team chat or put the QR code on the screen in the meeting room. Everyone joins with just their name and writes a letter to Santa with gift ideas. Not sure what to write? Ready-made invitation texts.
  3. The draw. By the organizer's button, by a vote, or by itself at the hour you pick. Nobody draws their own letter, and the organizer can pick pairs who do not draw each other.
  4. The office party. With “A number instead of the name” the parcels carry numbers, not names. When the gift sack opens, everyone gets the number of their own parcel, and only its Santa knows who it is from.

Neater than a marker: printable tags with numbers.

Gifts ready? Secret Santa games and reveal ideas.

Games for the office party after the gifts: Christmas party games: 15 one-minute games for work, family and kids.

What to write in the letter? The Secret Santa questionnaire has questions for coworkers: size, favorite color, coffee or tea.

For remote teams

Everyone joins, writes their letter and reads the letter they drew, with the gift budget, on their own phone, wherever they work. So the gift can go by post.

The draw on a chosen day and the address for the parcel: Virtual Secret Santa.
