Christmas snake: Santa’s sleigh collects the presents

How to play

Steer the sleigh with the arrow keys (or W, A, S, D), swipe on the board, or tap the buttons under it. Each present you collect hooks on to the back of the sleigh and makes the train one gift longer. Don’t hit your own train of presents or – on Normal and Fast – the edge of the board; on Easy the sleigh comes out on the other side.

For teachers: put the game on the interactive whiteboard and let the children take turns – who collects the most presents? Write each score on the board, and whoever wins a round picks the level of the next one.

Fun fact: the snake game comes from the arcade machines of the 1970s – the first one, Blockade, came out in 1976.
