Reindeer Flight: Santa’s sleigh over the rooftops

How to play

Tap or click the board, press Space, the up arrow or W, or the “Fly up” button – the reindeer jumps up, then starts to sink again. Fly through the gaps between the chimneys below and the clouds above; each pair you pass is one point, and P pauses the game. Hitting a chimney, a cloud or the ground ends the flight; on Easy the gaps are wider and the reindeer has 3 lives.

For teachers: put the game on the interactive whiteboard and let the children take turns at the one button – who flies the farthest? For the youngest choose Easy: wider gaps, a slower flight and 3 lives.

Fun fact: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer first appeared in 1939, in a rhyming booklet Robert L. May wrote to be given to the children who came to a department store.
