Your move – you play gingerbread
Gingerbread: 2 · snowballs: 2
How to play
- Each side plays one face of the discs, gingerbread or snowball; gingerbread moves first, and the game starts with two discs of each side in the middle, placed diagonally.
- A disc goes next to the other side's discs so that a straight line of them – across, up and down or diagonal – ends at a disc of your own; that whole line turns over to your side, and every such line at once.
- A disc that turns nothing over cannot be placed: with no such move, the turn passes to the other side.
- The game ends when neither side can move; whoever has more discs on the board wins, and the same number is a draw.
Why play? Reversi takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master – a family game for every age. Two can play on one tablet at the Christmas table, and when nobody is free, the computer is always ready for a game.
